Dora Restaurant in Clinton

Long been a favorite. I took oportuity while in town to rat here. Great food, charming and attentive service in family friendly atmosphere for well behaved children.

Love visiting my family in Clinton and eating wonderful pasta at Dora's.

Great little restaurant to stop as we came out of NYC. Lamb and Chicken Milanese were both excellent. Wait staff was kind and attentive. Reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

Very lovely establishment, the food is great and the service is wonderful but the portions are on the small side. My family and I did enjoy the ambiance.

Great Italian find! We accidentally discovered this gem yesterday (8/9/20) while strolling the Clinton waterfall town area. Excellent sauces, food and desserts. Must try!

One of the best restaurants in Clinton if not the best

Took a friend there visiting from CA, but the lunch was unimpressive. It used to be real good, but the food was bland. We both had the lunch pizzas which were excellent in the past, but not that day. Patio is nicer than it was in the past, for what it's worth.

We went here with another couple to celebrate birthdays. Food was excellent and servers were very attentive. I highly recommend this place.

Great food and attentive service.! Celebrated my wife's Birthday on July 4.. they sang Happy Birthday and served us delicious chocolate cake! Beautiful outdoor garden setting!

This restaurant held a lovely date night for my boyfriend and me. Great food and great service!We made reservations but made it early in which they were completely accommodating. It’s BYOB and we walked in with a bottle of rosé. They opened it for us and brought along a wine bucket stand. The service was outstanding. Started with the fried mozzarella. A glorified mozzarella stick in patty form but SO delicious because of the fresh mozzarella. It comes with three patties. We ordered the Orecchiette and the Rigatoni alla Torino to share. The sizable shrimp was made great. The sauce was light and all of the ingredients complimented each other nicely. The meat sauce on the rigatoni was complex and sweet.The waiter warned us that the chocolate soufflé would take a while because it was made in house. ABSOLUTELY! It’s a must. Decadent and rich.A cute outdoor atmosphere due to COVID restrictions, but a GREAT experience overall!

Nothing like some homemade pasta

Atmosphere was lovely.. waitress was nice, but forgot things and didn't bring my daughters drink at all.. my husband asked to wrap his food and she didn't bring it back.. food was ok, nothing to brag about. We were there celebrating my daughters birthday and she asked for citrus vinaigrette for her salad and they brought her olive oil she didn't realized until she began eating it and at that point it was ruined.. we won't be going back..

The food is fantastic. Been here many many times. My favorites are the beet salad and dora's ravoli. The service is super great. Outdoor and indoor (when it was allowed) is comfortable. Very clean. They are obeying all state restrictions.

Everything was perfect! Beautiful view of ornamental Main St. In Clinton. Food, service, atmosphere was excellent. We brought a bottle of wine to keep the bill down. It's consistently awesome. Our favorite.

Everything I’ve had here is amazing, I always get beef carpaccio because it is one of the best appetizers they have. I’ve gotten a variety of meals which were great every time. No disappointments here at all. It is a little pricey, but I’m willing to pay for good food.

We were pleasantly surprised when we stopped at Dora's for an early dinner. Although the wine (no beer available here) seemed a little expensive, the price was for a bottle made at a local vineyard and was good. I ordered a chilled gaspacho fot an appetizer and loved it... mmmm! The lasagna was also pretty good and my wife liked her meal as well.The outdoor setting was very pleasant.

Dora's food is delicious. The Restaurant dresses all the tables with white crisp tablecloths. Dora's is quaint cozy and serves are very personable. We dine there often and have never been dissatisfied with food or service.A great place for pastas, fish, steak, salads and daily specials. We highly recommend Doras...

Rude staff refused a seat and even to tell us a wait time. Extremely pretentious and snobby.

Ate outside on a beautiful afternoon. Food was good and the service was good. Nice outdoor patio area.

BYOB Italian clean , with friendly service ,and average fare. The dinning room is well. Appointed and there is a substantial out side seating area.

The most delicious Italian food I have ever experienced - try the Lobster Ravioli in Saffron Sauce and the Rigatoni and you'll be transported to foodie heaven! Attentive service, charming decor, and wine sold by the bottle - great value for your money! Call ahead to make sure you have a table - dinner can be busy as well as lunch later in the week -

Save your $$$. We decided to give these guys a 2nd chance and had an awful awful experience. Never again. Waited over 2 hours for dinner without any indication of why despite several asks. Finally decided to leave as it was ridiculous. The manager came out with food as we were leaving and actually insulted us and made a scene. Plenty of lovely BYOBs in NJ that appreciate customers.

Very nice restuarant. Definitely get a salad or appetizer with the meal. Big eaters will definitely need that.Should wear something casual that's dining appropriate. Don't be like me where I wore in a Nascar hat and an old hunting shirt (first time going).

Everything about this restaurant is perfect! From the staff, to the food, to the area! I drove an hour for this and I don't regret a thing. Quiet yet cozy, a perfect date night! Highly recommend Dora's
